The short answer

Support is conditional. Establish which current programme applies and how its application sequence affects your project.

Go to the current programme

KfW maintains a page for current heating-support information and links to its products, including support for private residential owners. Use that current page as your starting point. Programme terms can change; an earlier quotation is not confirmation of today’s eligibility.

Check your own circumstances

Confirm the ownership arrangement, building, proposed equipment and any evidence required for additional support. Ask the adviser or installer to identify the applicable product and documents. Treat the amount as unconfirmed until the relevant requirements and approval are satisfied.

Coordinate timing and the contract

Check the required sequence for the application, supply contract and starting work directly in the product guidance. Ask what contract wording and supporting documents are needed. Keep a budget that works before an expected payment arrives rather than treating the grant as cash already received.

A practical next step

Save the current programme information and make a dated checklist with your installer before signing or starting work.
